I have been a trustee on the Board of Education since 2010 and presently serve as Vice President. During my time on the Board, I have been honored to be elected by my colleagues to all officer positions. I am a product of LPS and graduated from Bentley High School. I have a degree in Finance from the University of Toledo and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Detroit College of Law. I was a personal injury defense trial lawyer for 35 years, during which I became the owner of my firm. I retired from active practice in November 2019 but still participate in the Wayne County Mediation Tribunal as a case evaluator. I am presently the Chair of the Livonia Parks and Rec Commission on which I have served since 1988.

I have been married to Rose for 40 years and have twins, a special needs son Eric, who is just a joy, and daughter Melissa, who is a Professor of Music at Butler University.
